In stock Remingtons
Went to a couple of the larger gun sales stores today and needless to say very little stock or no stock of anything good.
My brother in law owns a gun shop in Alaska and he usually can get me anything I want but he is now even having some of the same problems. I was out looking for a Remington 5R in a .300 WinMag but want the 24 in barrel and threads for my suppressor. Couldn't find any 5Rs around here at all so I had to have my brother and law get one for me.

All the gun shops here are almost empty of all guns! AR's are non existent.
I got a slick Remington 700 in .308 a couple of days ago. Used from a local guy. I'll get some pics soon!

The prices on anything AK, SKS and AR are blowing the roof out. Russian AK's are going for $900. WTF! The drum mags for SKS and AK's are now above $200. Two years ago, you could get a drum for $65.
I do a lot of business with Bud's Gun Shop. If you are a gunatic, you surely are familiar with Bud's. Between Obama getting re-elected and the school shootings, they are selling thousands of guns each day. I had to wait until after Christmas to order my Mossberg 930WF, because they were not able to get any new orders out. I made the order on December 26th and I am hoping I get it within two weeks.
I have five SKS's, three are in like new shape. I wish I had bought more AK's. They are real money makers right now.
Note: I have a Winchester BOSS Model 70 in 338 WIN MAG. Oly rap man, that is one powerful caliber. It is the most popular caliber in Alaska. Will stop a charging bear no problem. I shot a coyote at over 500 yards with mine. My nephew couldn't believe I dropped it from that distance.

SWEET 700, I got a Sako .300WSM that does great with the Leupold on it but I really want the 5R in a .300 also. Going to change up the stocks on it.

Nice 700 Matt. Very similar to what a lot of urban PD's are using with their SWAT snipers.
